Studio N Scape is an architectural design studio crafting sustainable, functional, and bespoke solutions for residential and commercial projects - architecture that is visually striking, environmentally responsive, and precisely tailored to the people who inhabit it.

Our practice has been shaped by experience spanning since 2007, working alongside architects and consultants across India and Australia. This cross-continental foundation gives us a distinct edge: the ability to navigate different building codes, climates, and construction cultures, and to bring that depth of perspective to every project we take on.

We don’t design in isolation. Every project begins with our clients - understanding their vision, their site, and the way they live or work - and ends with a space that’s not only beautiful, but buildable, compliant, and built to last.

Our capability spans the full project lifecycle: concept design, design development, detailed construction documentation, and project management. This end-to-end expertise means we can lead a project confidently from first sketch through to successful delivery, regardless of scale or complexity.

Our Team

Nihar Joshi

Director

With two decades in architecture and design, Nihar Joshi leads Studio N Scape with a simple belief: a good design should make everyday life better. After completing his Bachelor of Architecture in 2007, he spent years honing his craft across India and Australia, working on everything from family homes to commercial and mixed-use projects - experience that shaped how he thinks about architecture today: design that responds to its setting, and spaces considered down to the smallest detail.

As Creative Lead, Nihar is hands-on from the first sketch through to the final build. He enjoys the collaborative side of the process - understanding what clients truly need, working alongside builders and consultants, and mentoring the studio’s team - and it’s this care and attention to detail that has earned Studio N Scape a strong reputation for residential and commercial work across Australia.

For Nihar, architecture is never just about how a building looks - it’s about how it feels to live in and move through, and the lasting value it creates for the people who use it. He leads the studio with integrity, curiosity, and a genuine drive to get things right.

Off the drawing board, Nihar is just as competitive on the court as he is at his desk. He plays badminton and volleyball at a competitive level, lines up for social soccer at the local grounds on weekends, and coaches the next generation of badminton players in his spare time. A die-hard Liverpool FC supporter, he brings the same discipline, energy, and team spirit to the studio that he brings to the game. And when he’s not on a court or behind his work desk, he’s usually planning his next trip - travel being both a personal passion and a quiet source of inspiration for his design work.

Marc Burnham

Senior Consultant – Client Relations

Marc’s path into architecture started on the tools, not behind a desk. Two decades and counting on building sites gave him something you can’t learn from a textbook: a builder’s instinct for what actually works, paired with a genuine love of great design.

That hands-on foundation shapes everything Marc brings to Studio N Scape today. He guides clients through the earliest, often trickiest stages of a project - translating big ideas into designs that are not just beautiful, but buildable, efficient, and cost-smart. Homeowners, builders, and industry partners alike trust Marc as the calm, clear voice who keeps a project grounded from first conversation to final concept.

What sets Marc apart is how he listens. He digs into how you actually live, not just what you think you want, so the outcome feels considered rather than generic. Clear communication and a collaborative approach mean clients always know where things stand.

Off the clock, Marc chases architecture around the globe - seeking out landmark buildings and landscapes that push his thinking further. Frank Lloyd Wright, Richard Neutra, and John Lautner are constant touchstones, and their influence shows in his eye for design that responds to place, light, and life rather than fashion or trend.

With 24+ years in the industry, Marc brings craft, curiosity, and a genuine care for outcomes to every project he touches.

Dhyey Patel

Senior Designer

Dhyey brings strong technical expertise, creative insight, and a collaborative approach to every project at Studio N Scape. He holds a Bachelor of Architecture (2018) and a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning (2024), completed with a Gold Medal for academic excellence.

With experience across residential, commercial, and interior projects, Dhyey has developed deep capabilities in design development, construction documentation, and project delivery - contributing confidently at every stage of the design process.

He leads Studio N Scape’s design and documentation team, mentoring designers and documenters while overseeing coordinated construction documentation. His attention to detail and organised approach help ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes across the studio’s projects.

Driven by a passion for thoughtful, sustainable architecture, Dhyey is dedicated to delivering creative, client-focused design solutions.
